I probably have 3 or 4 of them around here somewhere. They do work and are quick .

There were days I would be layed over with no load that I would straighten out ALL my straps and inspect them, reorganize them, as I carried several lengths of straps up to 40 foot pulling a step. They were really nice on those days.

I can already picture myself forgetting to charge the battery for the drill gun and not using this thing after 2 impressive tries.
Also, in the real world straps don’t hang themselves ready to be rolled up, they will be all twisted up and I assume screw up the process.
Nevertheless, it’s a neat device for a well organized trucker.

Yeah. As far as twisted straps I think we've all seen seatbelts somehow get twisted when there's barely more width than the strap.

I usually do it Manually , by the time someone will be ready to unload me - all my chains , straps , binders or tarps usually put back where they should be and i have eztra time to surf through some internet .... Its so rare some will be next to me for unloading right after i checked in

The ####tiest part of rolling up straps is untangling them from the pile and avoiding the hook end from swinging and smacking you in the nuts

Please video how you roll straps. I’ve never had the hook get close to my nuts, and I could use a laugh.

Lol not rolling them up but when i take them off the trailer drag them to the truck , try my best to not make a huge tangled pile but it always happens, start pulling a strap from the pile so i can roll it up, get angry when it wont come out of the pile and start pulling on it harder , then WAM that hook comes flying up at you once it gets untangled got to cover ur face and nuts at the same time

    misterG Thanks this.
