I went to tifton, georgia, do not rush anything. It may take more then two or so days to get that truck looked at. I wasn't happy with their service so I left. I asked one of the mechanics their what he thought of their trucks. He said he wasn't allowed to answer that question.
Not saying they are all bad trucks but don't buy the first truck you see. Shop around get a feel.

I almost bought a truck from lone mountain years ago, went through their whole process and picked out a truck to go look at, the lady said see you then and the day before called me and said truck wasn’t ready that I would have to come next week, I said fine, next week rolled around, I called the lady to confirm before I made the drive and she tells me truck still not ready, I said ok, I still got my current gig, we try again next week on day off, next week Rolls around and she gives me the same story, I ask her what was wrong with truck and she made up some stuff about a window or something and tried to get me to go look at trucks at another location 1000 miles away, after the 3rd time of canceling the appointment for a inspection and dyno I took that as a red flag and went elsewhere. thinking back; she did me a favor, by dealing with their shady dealings I just sucked it up and went thru a stealership,. The whole point of me looking at lone mountain was because I was about to buy a house and didn’t want a 65k truck on the credit report at the time.. had good credit and good income but it was affraid it would put me over the debt to income ratio and would mess with the whole ordeal of buying a house. I like my toys lol.. I knew lone mountain didn’t report to credit agency.. it all worked out tho and probably dodged a bullet, different strokes for different folks

Not that it matters much to me, I'm not buying anything anytime soon, but my boss bought a used daycab from Schneider. I think it's a 2006. Paid $22k for it, it had just under 600k on the odometer. It now has 750k on it.

That little POS is a money maker! They've replaced the turbo and EGR cooler and valve, but otherwise it's been trouble free. But it's very reliable, and kinda fun to beat around.

Overall, it's been a good truck. But I'd assume we probably have one of the few good ones.
