Hi!
I am looking for info from actual Robbie D Wood drivers.
We are relocating from SLC, UT. to Spanish Fort / Daphne Al. area next month.
I have 5+ years experience in HAZMAT tankers, But have never been paid percentage. Always mileage and/or hourly.
Sooo, the reviews online are pretty good for RDW, but I would like some feedback from ACTUAL drivers.
Any feedback you can give would be greatly appreciated. IF you do not want anything public, please PM me. I am wanting to start working asap after we get settled and from what I'm seeing online, this seems to be a "better than most" company. But I'm leary of online reviews also. I know they can be skewed by other companies and by the ( "they suck because they didn't kiss my butt 24/7") type of drivers.
So, I'm looking to hear from ACTUAL (past or present) RDW drivers.
Thank you!

All I can tell you is they have an outstanding reputation here in Alabama and their Facebook page (if you are in to that) gives the impression they are a very decent company.
All-American82 Thanks this. -
Here I am ... Sorry I've been a bit AWOL
I'll sent you a PM -

No, not any particular town, just "in general" across the state. Robbie D has very nice trucks and a variety of trailers (vans, tanks, flatbeds, dump wagons and those are only what I've seen). They have always had nice trucks, going back to their gray w/red striped KW W900L days. Can't remember what they were running prior to that.shogun Thanks this. -

Can't say but an old associate now works for them [sales] and he wouldn't be there if they were not first class! I know how he rolls.

Just moved to Mobile from Colorado Springs and am looking into RDW as well. Did you start there or find a different company?

The recruiting department said that he would contact me twice and never did and I left three messages at the terminal itself to contact him directly and never received a response back.
It takes approximately an hour to fill out just one application completely. And quite honestly I don't want to waste their time nor mine if I can't get questions that are important to me answered
By all accounts they are a good company. So if you can get ahold of someone good luck to you!
