Just remember you are still in the slower part of the "calendar acceleration". It keeps getting faster all the time.....it blew the hair off the top of my head about 6 years ago.

I think they are naive and don’t understand the meat grinder. Let’s be honest these companies will say just about anything to get someone through the door. These people don’t get the straight talk. Trucking schools will Bull #### to get you in the door. Trucking companies will bull #### to get you in the seat. Charlie maybe be happy, but once he sees how the tuna is made it’s a big culture shock. I’m not saying the guys asking for his help are the brightest, I just wish he wouldn’t pass on information about companies like Carolina cargo. Who takes advantage of a guys past by paying him .13 cpm. All the while cutting everyone’s throat because they have no payroll cost.

Exactly. I was talking with a fellow #5 er earlier about when MJ and @johndeere4020 were suggesting to someone to do just that, go knock on doors, get some local experience. China was tellin em they were nuts.......guess he thought it was too much work also.

Can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped or has no intention of listening. They've already got their mind made up they just want someone to agree with em. It's like people who ask questions then question the answer. If you didn't want to listen to an answer then why'd you ask the question?

 

@ShooterK2 . Don't know if you had heard but the El Reno tornado was an EF-3, it traveled 2.2 miles and was 75 yds wide. The people that were killed were from the trailer park not the motel.
