We got a good storm out of that and another 1"+ of rain. My son works for the city in the flood department. They're working 12 hour shifts right now. He said the Arkansas River was at 10.46 feet this morning when he took his reading. He's hoping it will be 9.97-10.00 when he repeats it tonight at 1900.
They're predicting it to crest at upwards of 18' on Thursday, depending on how much rain we get and what comes from up North of us in the next few days.

 

For the adult male, being naïve is a choice.
