What if it Snows?

Yes. 54° is normal for the Channel Islands. They call me Otter because the cold water doesn’t bother me.

I like Astoria. My wife doesn’t want to leave our little place just south of Santa Barbara.

I get on Zillow sometimes and just dream.

 

I see (and understand) both sides of that conversation.

People should live where they grew up at!
I went to school with my propane delivery man, he was there to help trench in the line.

After working on mom's house for a bit.... pretty sure most of the folks that live their now do not want me around.

And the people that were then when I was growing up? Pretty sure most of them are glad I'm gone.

Where as up here most are glad to have another contributor to the economy/community.

 

Just stay out of Idaho — only Barbarians live here
