I don't think you're going to find places like "Wedonia Grocery" on your GPS. It's a 100+ year old little country store in a town that doesn't even have a caution light, but..... if you happen to be rolling through and stop, Ms. Nancy might (depending on her mood and arthritis that day) have decided to cook lunch for her occasional store customers, and she might just offer up some if you happen to ask, "what smells so good in here?"

I'd also bet you won't find Mule's Place in a GPS either.

West, TX on I-35 exit 351 I think. There is a cafe at the livestock auction with plenty of truck parking. Great food there.:yes2557:

Jane Lew WV has a great restaurant. It looks like a 5* restaurant too. Definitely NOT the average truck stop restaurant.

We have several of these in TX and most have real good food. There is one in Eastland, TX off I20 that is great. Small but fresh salad bar. Always good steaks, chicken fried steak, burgers and broiled chicken. Guess they can pick out the best steers to serve. One is Weatherford is only open on auction day, but serves up some good catfish. have been to a couple that were not so clean and downwind of pens. Not so good.

I10, exit 115 in Henderson, LA. There's 4 truckstops you can park at, and nearby is Landry's seafood house. A bit pricey, but if your in a spending mood, the fish is fantastic!
