Does anyone know anything about Buchanan Hauling & Rigging out of Ft. Wayne In.? They haul alot of OD loads and have some dry vans. Is their equipment kept up? Do you see them sitting much? Any info. is appreciated.

my dad drove for them for awhile. they are mostly owner-op, but did have some fleet owners. they had a lot of freight going from south texas to the midwest. they also had alot of auto expedite loads. that was a couple of years ago but at the time they had some really good rates and they were really good people. i would say go for it and let us know how it turns out.
happypappy25 Thanks this. -

Well, I went , from orientation, to above Waterloo Ia. with a 25000# gearbox. Paid pretty well. Then d/h to Iowa 80 and sat for 3 days as it was Easter weekend. Mon. they sent me mt to Ft.Wayne to p/u a steel beam load for Houston. Paid good. They paid me for the 3 days layover and d/h miles. Will find out how much when I get my check.
U/L in Houston, p/u a alum. sheet load for Tn. and Il. del. mon. and tues. Not happy with it as it's cheap and has to many days under it. BUT, will go over and p/u another steel beam ld. for Houston so I can be at the house next weekend, like I asked for.
So far, the co. seems to be ,basically, a good deal. The dispatch seems to work with you and get you where you need to be on time. Don't comment on the cheap loads, as the lead dispatcher gets a real attitude. Must be the stress,lol...
Will keep you all informed. -
