    We may very be ...

I will suggest taking a day and riding the camp verde railway between camp verde and Williams. It is a nice relaxing day and is a high enough altitude that it won’t be quite as hot. Camp verde is about halfway down from Flagstaff.

Also, the best Mexican food I have found in AZ is going n Flagstaff - go for breakfast at MartAnn cafe. Except for the buckwheat pancakes - everything was fantastic. I do not like buckwheat pancakes - so I could be a bad source on that.

Thanks fellas!! We're both really looking forward to this trip.

Thank You. We originally wanted to drive the coast highway, but decided to make that a trip all it's own.

    I'll keep this in mind!!

We stopped there for an afternoon 3 years ago when we were down there, that wasn't long enough. I agree, it was absolutely beautiful through there. We want to spend a day there as well.

We went through old town a few years ago, I don't think we made it that far east. We'll have to try that place out.

Looks like there's quite a bit to do just at the south rim. She's routed us back through the 4 corners area. I've got a new big bottle of sunscreen packed as well as a couple long sleeve shirts, just in case.

Not too worried about family members. Between the 4 kids and their significant others, things should be well taken care of. I'm really looking forward to something other than water myself.

Interesting, actually seems kind of expensive at the time.

Edit, after running it through an inflation calculator it’s about right.
