Perhaps it is best to call the shop to schedule it yourself?
Going through a third party is never a good way to go.

True. And normally that is my policy. He called me with the idea. Said hed take care of it, so I really thought he had it covered. And this is like the 2nd time in 3 years hes ever messed up.

I was doing it next week in JV, but Ft Lauterdale, decided a Tuscon load was top priority, and I volunteered just to break up the routine. So on the way back he calls me with the idea.

At any rate, he was going to get it scheduled for in the morning, and i lucked out and am first in line, so its all a wash anyway.

Don't forget your 'I Heart Weed' t-shirt while you are there.

Always have to look good the next time in a terminal.

Gotta say running reefer I have only slept at a terminal once in these 3 weeks. The new service schedule is definitely a pain. Going to try to schedule home time with it if I can. Almost missed Christmas a few years back because of it. Didn't stop at a terminal though since I was under a load and went 1200 over the service mileage.

I think the unofficial idle policy is < 50% idle time (so 12 hours/day, essentially). I've idled for days at a time and never heard anything.

Idle policy depends on management, some terminals jump on you over it, some don't even look at it all. It also depends on what BS corporate is pulling at the time.

Reefer over at Mira Loma didnt give a hoot at the time (2-3 YEARS AGO). Whole flatbed division, I've never heard of anyone getting a complaint. Matter of fact, one of our saltier ECT guys hands out advice on defeating the Anti idle stuff.

After dropping the load here yesterday, dm had me deadbeat to lathrop terminal to get b.i.t. service done.
Got there and went to shop and kinda complained about them missing the bit service since I did an a and b service last week.
Guy said give him a few minutes and he will fix it. Waited a clue hrs and he said good to go.
Sat rest of day with no offerings.
Till around 10 pm When I woke up from my nap. Saw a preplan with 2 loads. First one was already late for delivery so I just declined it and went back to sleep.
Woke up to another latelosd that was a repower licking up at flying j in Lodi going to Sacramento. Then stacked with a Hayward pick up. Someone grabbed that one.
Got this one that picked up at the terminal and delivered here at target.
Next one picks up a mile away and goes to buckeye az which I will deliver sometime tomorrow
