All injector mechanical not responding codes except for cylinder #2.

When you said injectors were replaced, were genuine cummins or aftermarket ones installed?

Aware of what the codes represent. All injectors were replaced with Cummins supplied injectors, factory remanufactured parts through Cummins according to shop. Part numbers match Cummins factory part number. Did not see the actual parts in the box, I would like that to be verified somehow, as I have thought that could be a possibility of aftermarket parts being used in place of new OEM parts. Was told by Cummins that all replacement injectors are remanufactured parts

Also, the only thing showing on the display screen is Fuel Rail Pressure, I'm getting the injector codes by using the key on - press throttle 3 times - counting flashes of red stop engine lights. Each code displays twice with the yellow check engine light between each sequence. I do not have the Insite program. I downloaded the Cummins fault advisor to my phone but the OBD II ELM327 interface with the 9 pin adapter is not able to connect. Was told I need the Insite Mini Bluetooth as my OBD II Bluetooth is not compatible.

I think you need to find another shop that is more detail focused and can follow testing and procedures to isolate this issue. What we do know is that most likely your issue is affecting all injectors since it has logged 5 of the 6 faults. Highly unlikely that 5 of the six injectors are having a failure of the part themselves.

    The questions I have........
Was the injector reset performed in Insite after the new ones were installed? Were they replaced in attempt to correct the faults at hand?

What Is the fuel rail decay rate? The high side should be tight with no leaks. (These leaks may be internal and not external) When running the leakage test. Should hold 30k psi with no drop after key off. It might fluctuate slightly, but not drop.

Has the injector drain line restriction been measured? This would make a common link to all 6. I would advise getting a gauge installed and monitoring this while driving loaded.

Why will the IPT test not finish? Does Insite give a warning pop up message error or does one of the faults come active during the test? Will Initiating a stationary regen get the faults to come up or does it need to be loaded?

Think back to the origin of this issue. My guess is maybe something In the repair process may have caused this, cant be sure. The details In the past may contain clues to help find this nightmare.

    Again, good luck

I think you are still seeing issues of the HP fuel pump failure. The debris are still causing problems with injectors. Whole system needs flushed and cleaned from tank to return hose back to tank. Probably need new HP fuel pump, rail, and injectors again. Until you get every debris out you will replace parts indefinitely. Just my opinion.

Fuel Rail pressure is now higher than recommended levels at times, this is causing IPT to abort on Insite. I started replacing injectors when codes developed in May 2018. Injectors were replaced according to Insite performance test results, #1 and #4. Then in Oct 2018, injector #6 failed performance test. After the repairs @ Kenworth Jerome Id,(March 2019) the codes for injector spill valves returned, along with fuel rail pressure code 1911. Injectors #2,#3,#5 were replaced March 2019. Codes returned within 2 days. Fuel Rail Decay was checked when truck was returned to shop. This truck has been looked at 3 different times since mid April and has been down for 21 days since then. I have been able to keep it going by using my KR Scanguage to "clear" the MIL light and Fuel Rail Pressure display on driver info screen which can last for upwards 150-200 miles.

Shops have stated they will not perform that repair, I already suggested that they do everything from the beginning all at once, they stated Cummins would not warranty the parts and labor to do that

Problem solved, Kenworth installed a defective fuel pump. Shop in Hesperia CA didn't follow correct troubleshooting procedures. Cummins fixed it no charge
