No way to keep up Gents. Too many 16+ hour days, and next week starts being out of phone/internet service which will last through August at least.

For all you guys interested in the Switchblade turbo, here is an update:

Today we hauled our 345 to our job. About 240 miles starting around 4200 ft. ending around 6500 ft. with one minor pass in between. It was a good workout for the old girl.
Compared to a BW 177148, it does not spool as quickly or give the feel that you can pull down below 1500, but it does seem to provide quite a bit more air from 1500 on up.

We gave the fuel screws 4 turns, and she will now get up to 900 degrees if you give it all you have on a long pull. Below 1500 I think it will go higher, but I don't let it pull hard for any length of time below 1600.

Low rpm boost is lower, but wot boost will get up around 30 psi, which is more than the Watergate turbo. All in all, I am quite happy with it but for legal weight loads I think the the 177148 is still hard to beat.

 

Been a day....

Only load I had this week cancelled so me and a buddy head to the lake with his skiddy and dump trailer....

Thirty miles blowed tire...no jack. Unhook and head to town to get one...come and hook back up...new jack is junk... unhook and back to town.

Get to the lake and the wheeler battery cranked it's last.... problem with his neighbor done come to a head...

But at 12:00am on 6/1 Laddie Jean came into the world...so we have a new granddaughter and I'm sure mama is gonna have me up bright and early wanting to go to the hospital.
