Last week was a short week. After I delivered in East Syracuse, I deadheaded back over to Jamestown then to Anniston. After I delivered in Anniston, I went home for the night since I was out of hours. I finished last week with 2100 miles
Thursday morning, I get a text asking did I want to stay home for the day or go back out. I told them if I could get a late afternoon pickup, I would come back out today. A few minutes later, I got a 2100 mile run from my house over to Grovetown, GA with 5 stops finishing out in Stanley, ND tomorrow.
I was very thankful to get the first 2 stops off yesterday in Stratford, WI and Rogers, MN. Now I m in Fargo doing a reset, and will back track to Moorhead in the morning then over to Velva, ND and Stanley, ND.
Once I deliver in Stanley, I got to figure out a way to get truck serviced, and be back home by Friday. By the time I get from Stanley to Grand Forks to home, it should be close to 4,000 miles again within the last 2 weeks.
I m glad that I don t see Grand Forks as much as I used to. Twice a week sometimes was too much lol

Well, another 4000 mile week in the books. I picked up last Thursday in Grovetown, GA and did my 5 stops by Monday afternoon. I got lucky and got 2 out of the 5 delivered Saturday. And finished the last 3 by 1430.
Then I deadheaded 270 miles to the yard for service, picked up a load off the yard, and went to Gainesville, GA. Got to Gainesville around 1200 unloaded and reloaded in 45 minutes going to Anniston. I got to Anniston, unloaded, then 18 miles to the house for some time off.
It was good to hang out with some good friends in Grand Forks this past Monday. I ve noticed that there s a few more O/O s that are leased on to S&S now.LDYTRUCKER, Lonesome and CJ701 Thank this. -
We ll look forward to having you come aboard whenever you re readyCJ701 Thanks this.

Thanks do they set you up with a trainer for 30 days if you dont have a year experience? I mean i dont mind it cause i need to practice my backing lol
-
I m not sure how long the training is, but they probably will have you go with a trainer. I know they ll have you practice backing in the yard up to one of the warehouse docksCJ701 Thanks this.

They re trying to get into training drivers, but we don t have that many trainers, and they re real nit picky about trainers. I mean I ve only been driving 18.5 yrs and have trained before. They told me I m not qualified yet lol
LDYTRUCKER Thanks this.
