How much should a 7 axle dump make per hour ?!

2 hours between “I want to buy one” and “I have one n this is how much I make with what I have”

Maybe it was a productive 3-5am on a Sunday.........

Every area is different in San Diego its very hard to average better than 8 hours a day as there so many restrictions as to when job sites and pits are open, the weather allows us to work year round unless it rains then there is a 10K fine for tracking mud onto a street paid by the job site. There are exceptions to this you can haul sand from riverside to San Diego and run more hours or colored rock from areas as far away as Arizona and Nevada but that is not the majority of work.

I understand all areas are different, mostly supply and demand I think.
From what I understand Los Anchorage rates run on the average 30 bucks an hour less than what they do here. The cost of living is less, but it doesn't account for that much difference.
They do have a longer dirt season too.
We get them up here underbidding our rates pretty often, but they never seem to last too long either.

Every state has axle requirements which im sure you know. I own tri-axle and 3 axles gets you the maxium weight limit on the roads in pa before you step up to combination which is 80k pounds. Sucks some states require 4,5 or even 6 xles. And i get top rate with only one lift axle and maxium tonnage. But yeah 85-100 an hour plus travel are my rates. Hardly ever run tonnage out of the quarry but if i do, it pays on average 3.50 a ton and i can haul almost 24 ton. And usually the zones i can get about 10 loads in 8 hours which comes out to 800 a day.
If im lucky on tonnage i can hit one quarry with stock back to another quarry. 250 bucks round trip. 8 hours, over 1000 bucks a day

    Humblepie Thanks this.
