How do u know if a company is good if u cant find them on the net .Where do u go if they r so small that they dont use dac.I been looking for a company that i could go to work for i have a bit of a problem its called a lead foot . Well i found a place that would take me on but i cant find them so i just figured that they was so small that they dont have a site which was the truth . but i also found out that they r thru a place that allows small fleets to hire on thru them so i went looking at that comapny there is no rating or reports that tells me an thing. boy if u want to hide ur company this must be the place to do it am looking at going with a company thats thru Unverisal AM-CAN Trucking would u belive they r a real company but they rnt rated as to how many trucks or drivers they have . Guess what thats because that is where small fleets companies go and they r hiding so u cant find them .Well i guess ill just take a chance and see what happens i see alot of UAC trucks on the rd so they have to be ok i hope i just want to go back to work ill just have to wait and see if they r soon to be a truck driver again :biggrin_25510::biggrin_25526: I HOPE

Also, if you can find one at a truck stop get the USDOT and MCC numbers and run that on the DOT SafeStat site to find safety information about them.

The app that you will be filling out will be for UACL. Even though you will be working for the smaller company you will be under UACL's authority and insurance so they will be running a driving record on you.

The app for uac is 17 pages long. There are several pages that you don't have to fill out or sign. Some you just have to sign and there are the usual app pages. I just filled it out 2 days ago. I am going to orientation with them next week friving a friends truck. You can go to their web site and browse their load board to get an idea of what or where they run.

UACL "used" to be a Central Transport company. Not sure about these days.
