what are you guys using as far as dash cams. Keep trucking offers their front mount dash cam. Not exactly sure the cost but wanted to see what you guys are using.

Reviewing it on Amazon is says that you can review footage by simply downloading the Garmin app on your phone... I haven't checked yet but what does that cost? Is it that simple?

How's it for night time footage?

I installed a Street gurdian SGGCX2PRO+ Front and back plus the hardwiring kit for $300.
So far so good. Easy to pull out the memory card and throw it in the card reader you get with it and download or watch the videos through my phone/tablet.

night time is ok. App downloads footage little slow. Connection is wifi but not superfast. I bough it from Garmin store. they have return policy if you don't like it. I paid ~ $270 tax included.

    JonJon78 Thanks this.

    Thanks for the feedback.

What kind or how much memory are you guys using and how many hours of footage are you able to capture?

I have Vicovation Vico Opia2 installed on my Cadillac. This one will beat any Garmin camera. It does not have gps in it(available optional) but video quality is the best one. Just google it and watch the videos of this unit.

Problem is it works with a Garmin GPS and nobody uses that if they have used a Rand Mcnally. I bought a Garmin, ($450) tried it for two days and it is in the box since. Useless interface.
