    nada.

Drove around in LA for a bit then headed north up the 5 past the Valencia/ Castaic coup and the inspection bays were empty. Passed wheeler ridge super-coup looked like business as usual.

I kept checking on and off ramps and saw nothing out of the ordinary.

So far the Blitz, where I’m at, looks like any other day.

My trainee and I will be into Oregon today and then heading back mañana...curious what’s going to happen.

Dont worry buddy u just jinxed urself. Lol u got 3 dot level 1 inspections coming up for u in the next 3days. Thats usually how trucking works. Say something like man i havent seen rain in about 2 weeks . next thing u know it starts a ####in hurricane of the century for the next 3 days ... I took hometime for a reason this week. Dont need no stupid bear puttin his magnifying glass under my truck tellin me its something wrong when he could easily just look the other way. But u know how it is they look until they find something..

I saw DOT at a rest area in Arizona. They had the portables. I had a pretty new trailer and the truck was just washed I guess they knew they’d be wasting their time with me lol and waved me thru but stopped the old POS Volvo behind me.

Saw a Mega trucking companies trailer at a Loves having all 4 super singles tires replaced this morning. Got curious about why all 4 tires were being replaced, one of the the tires had worn down to steel showing , I would think it had to have been wearing like that for a while.

IL has been running the big road coops longer than usual, lately, hit or miss.

I’ve had 4 level 1’s this year already. Passed them. If they pull me in anymore I’m changing my mailing address to the cottonwood scale house. :D

EDIT: I’ve already started writing my “I’m an idiot for tempting fate” post after DOT hammers me on things like:
    1. Oil too clean
    2. Not enough metal flake in my paint
    3. Improper application of armor all to steer tires.

Oh ya... my trainee is going to be driving A LOT of the next three days. :D

I-15 north bound at Inkom, ID has two full grown bears doing inspections... Which is out of the ordinary. I got the "Must Exit" sign, but both bears were ###-hole deep in other trucks so they just rolled me across the scales... Now I'm home... Going to hook up the swamp cooler and then enjoy a beer.

On I10 eastbound in Mississippi both were super busy about 8-10 trucks parked in each.

The one just east of Houston was rolling everyone through at idle speed so the officer standing out there could get a good look at everyone’s tires.....

I got pulled in the scale in Shamrock Tx. Ten min later I got pulled into the scale in Erick Ok. Two hours later I got pulled into the one in El Reno Ok. Four hours later I was pulled in the scale in Joplin Mo. I didn't get inspected in any of them. But it's been a long time since I had to go thru four in one day.
