And where does cheese come from? I know where butter comes from, I use to make it in a gallon jar on my knee, one of my chores growing up.

 

My thoughts exactly!! Makes me want to run mine at night lol....

 

Similar ingredients sure — that’s where the similarities end.

Some of you love butter so much I swear y’all do this #### just to #### with me. If any of you wanna spread cream cheese on your pancakes tomorrow morning — have at it. I will cringe before grabbing my maple syrup and eating them as they should be. Your loss.

.....I wanna have a go at making bleu cheese sometime. I love some good bleu cheese.

 

I think about you every time I roll up 44 lol, when I make a right to get on 76 east there’s a wide spot right there on the entrance ramp..... and a Cracker Barrel directly behind across the road lol.

 

Bleau cheese like that stuff people put on salads? White looking? Even have it in salad dressing.?

 

a quick look at How is cream cheese made ? on Google, makes it appear that the primary difference is Cream Cheese is made with a 50/50 mix of milk and cream. There are variations but that is the main one. Instead of churning the cream like in butter making, lactic acid bacteria is put in the 50/50 mixture and after it breaks down into curds and whey ( the thin watery stuff ) they drain off the whey and voila, you have cream cheese.

 

You know we like ya more than we do our socks lol.... that’s why we pick at ya!

 

Replace cream cheese with butter and vice versa in recipes and tell me how it works out for ya Moosey.
