I talked to a recruiter from Driver Solutions today and he told me PAMwasn't hiring but Decker and Chocktaw was. I'm supposed to start school March 9 and I get to choose between USA,Chocktaw & Decker and I was wondering how Chocktaw & Decker was different from PAM since they are owned by the same company. What would be the best choice between them and USA?

The Choctaw Express I am aware of, is a division of P.A.M.
P.A.M. is based out of Tontitown, Ar in the Fayetteville area in the northwest corner of Arkansas.
Choctaw Express is based out of Oklahoma City. From the CE drivers that I have talked to, all of them loved driving for CE. And, for some reason, most of them denied working for P.A.M. even though of the ownership.
I don't know if they were in denial of that fact, or what. But, they liked it. -
seems pams other divisions are more poplular with their respective drivers.

Choctaw runs mostly team trucks and delivers auto parts for General Motors and other companies. Therefore, you can expect to travel to places like Detroit, MI, Defiance, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Arlington, TX and Laredo, TX a lot. Considering the state of the US automotive industry, I am pretty sure that their business has slowed down considerably over the last year. On one hand, this is good because it will give you more time to learn how to drive without constantly being pressured to get the load delivered. But, on the other hand, you will get less miles and less money.
All of their trucks are automatics. Some drivers love this because they are easier to drive, especially in heavy city traffic. Other drivers do not like them because they want more control of the truck and are worried that after driving an automatic truck for an extended period of time that their shifting skills will get rusty. Since most companies still use trucks with manual shift transmissions, weak shifting skills could limit your future opportunities to change jobs.

I turned an app into driver solutions and completed the follow up call today. The "driver agent" said I could go to cdl training in Fort Worth on the 23rd for Choctaw Express. I've heard plenty of bad things about PAM as well as good. Just wondering if this was my best way to get into Driving and if not, what may be a better way.
Thanks
