The trouble is when guys with real advice give them some help and it isn't the pretty story they're expecting they cry to the mods and a hand with knowledge gets hit with the ban hammer.

    No need, friend.

There are three things that I’ve realized...

    1. You reap what you sow. You have some guy come in with questions about driving. He has drug problems, spousal issues, felonies, child support...etc, and he wants to truck. People try to help him and they instantly find out why this guy is in the situation he’s in. Like the guy that went to McElroy and got sent away because he was pagan. What a waste.

    2. People find what they’re looking for. They come in looking for advice. If they are looking for scary stories, they find scary stories. If they are looking for negativity, they find negativity. If they’re looking for good people, they find good people. Birds of a feather....you know the rest.

    3. Good drivers are going to be successful at any company that they go to, or any path they choose. It’s why I will not knock a guy for his company or his age or his race or nationality. If he’s solid, he will do well. Period.

Now, the only thing that I wished would change, would be the ignore feature on this site. That way, the fakes would suddenly be isolated as more and more members ignored them. It would drive them out rather quickly. The trolls would have to go elsewhere to feed.

No disagreement. You even had that guy from South Africa saying the same thing. It’s a “little man” game.

“Oh yeah, you’ve never pulled any weight. A friend of mine pulled a million pound load 400 miles in 1 day by himself no escort with 4 5/16th chain!”

    Sure bud.
