Lol!! Makes you wonder if they miss something that obvious...what else are they ignoring?!

 

I think it was about 1993 or 1994. Me and a buddy went to threw the processes with city council to be allowed to build a BMX track in the big city park. Had to present plans and designs. Had city workers running the equipment at the instruction of 13/14 year olds. Its was there till recent years, but seems kids lost interest. It was what I considered a major undertaking at that age for a couple gear head losers as some teachers would say. Someplace I have the news article.

 

I think of all the manmade junk in our food today. I remember at a WV Water well meeting a guy from the Health Dept joined the meeting. Water well drillers were voicing their opinions about all this city water being brought to every holler around, and the fact it was full of chemicals unlike well water. Health Dept smuck said.... well we feel the chemicals are not apt to kill you as quick as some of the bacteria. Well drink up then?

@OLDSKOOLERnWV do you remember the 3M damage DuPont vs West VA? I have family w/ DuPont that admitted the huge coverup. People’s live just don’t matter to the bottom line

 

You mean how these guys come in and ask about spec'ing out a truck to do a certain job and you tell him what he asked for, and then he starts arguing about how he can beancount and save money, and the first time someone tells him that his plan is stupid, he gets butthurt? You can always spot those guys with a shelf full of participation trophies on display at the house.

Amazing, isn't it? Homeboy gets mad at you after you try to help him. It's like someone being trapped in a burning car trying to sue you because he got cut when you knocked the window out. And you think, "My mistake. I will never do that again. The next time I see someone trapped in a burning car, I will let them burn."

 

Shops are full for a reason.....

 

I do remember something about that.

 

Trucks lined up down the berm waiting to roll through the pickle park / scales. I-90 west PA-NY line.
