Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
I am about to give up!

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

REMEMBER SOMETHING ELSE JUST BECAUSE A COMPANY REPORTS TO DAC...You still have the right to rebutt what that company wrote about you...Believe me it works!!! I own my own company... DAC is a credit reporting company and just like equafax, or transunion you can rebutt and actually have the information removed if warranted....

My very last job was an anteater leased to Prime Inc. It was the very best truck I ever drove (13 with a 444 cummins, double walk-in, frig, micro...) and it was ungoverned. Downside was they didn't care about fuel mileage: they wanted miles. Many, many, many miles...burned me out. You couldn't drive like that nowadays with qc and such.

I totally agree OTR trucking is a lifestyle, heck I've said it on here a couple of times.
I'm at home right now, bored out of my mind. I've seen everybody I cared too. I love being on the road. Sure I get frustrated when I get the "no freight" messages. I think Wednesday I'll put in for a load, I have to work on my old Jeep. Ugh!luvtheroad Thanks this. -
Tucker, who do you drive for?
-
I'm a Crete too, I post on Evertruckers page as well as others.
-
As you have probably read, I really think a lot of Crete... Have friends who have been there for many, many years and are happy with the company. Maybe not happy with miles right now, but all in all like who they drive for. It would be my first choice, when I start applying.

Well, I still cant find a job in trucking so I have come to the realization that I am just gonna have to wait for a few years till my speeding ticket and arrest are old enough. In the meantime it really sucks paying that student loan payment every month for a CDL I cant use!
-
Keep your CDL current, and I'd start working the small local outfits while that ticket ages. Don't get another one!luvtheroad Thanks this.
-
Very good advice... Who knows, that small outfit might be the one that a person really likes and stays with.allnite Thanks this.
