Without reading previous posts I will say macropoint is utterly over redundant stupidity!
I will be asked to use it by CHR usually. Than I just conveniently forget to activate it. I deleted the app from my phone.
I forgot to mention I am just a company guy. And the company never yells at me for not using it.
Edit my previous employer.

Other mega brokers probably have similar policies so as to get more people to use it. I always use it on their loads but I also always call the coyote rep at my arrival/departure times so he can log it right then just to be sure. You can't take anything for granted if you want to get paid detention. He told me that macropoint only updates my location for them every 30 minutes.Last edited: Jun 8, 2019

So let's get this straight.
With macropoint it is more important documentation , than signing your name for arrival, on or before appointment time????
I think not. That is why we still use paper bill of lading. Even though it seems obsolete. -
Should you do some minor digging into the macropoint app, your going to find that the fine print allows them to track you for 30 days at a time. Just because you click the stop button, the tracking does not stop.
ZVar and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
In that case all you have to do is remove the app from your phone when the load is complete problem solved. Doubtful anyone is tracking you for 30 days anyway. Who cares what one random truck does and what good is the info? If your customers are so lousy they'd drop you over some random broker calling out of the blue they weren't worth a #### anyway.
