Calling the receiver to confirm that your info lines up with their info is a good idea.

Would have given @otterinthewater a chance to stir the pot on Friday when it could of done some good.

I’m ok with that as long as it’s physically possible. I had a delivery time once and brought it to the attention of a weekend DM and I said it couldn’t be done. So she decided to argue with me. I said nothing until she was done. I explained it wasn’t possible for me to average 148mph to deliver the load. That shut her up.

Yes. It would’ve. This is a big box top retailer that is shipping stuff to a DC and using us. Oh....and they don’t give us those phone numbers... I could’ve asked my DM. That would’ve been smart. Next time I will for this account.

As far as compensation goes...I’ll get $35 in layover pay. They’ll pay for nothing else. I will have to bring it to my DM’s attention and he’ll cover that. Other than that I sit here.

The one with the 15 minute window will never see me again. That's one of the most BS places ever.

The one with the 30 minute window is just an arrogant place, but a good run, and you can park around the corner until it's time.

    Just guessing...

I bet the 15min one an uppity vegan organic dog food maker.

30 min joint is an fake-imported vegan organic water bottler who takes tap water runs it through some tie-dye shirts and it’s blessed by an Instagram “influencer”?

Layover pay is less than Per Diem?

May want to take that up with the company. Per Diem is the allowance for food and other things to maintain yourself while away from home. Currently the IRS is cool with writing off about $66 per day. Thats the Minimum they should be paying you and that should be Tax Free. The company should be reimbursing your Per Diem

Per diem rate increases for 2019
