    My #### door keeps opening while driving. The magnets still seem strong and I ground the rust off the metal plate but still the contact is weak as hell.

    Same here. I am afraid my cover gonna break one day.

    I just talked to Freightliner they have magnets its only 25$. They call it excess door magnets.

    Tweak the door a bit to get better contact? Magnetic force drops very rapidly, having flat contact makes a huge difference in holding power.

    Tear apart an old hard drive and find the plate with magnets on it. It Will be kinda curved like a cresent moon... They are SUPER strong for tier size... Like crazy strong! I think the magnets from newer hard drive will hold like 4 pounds... The older (and larger) ones would hold 20 pounds.

    We replace them with some from a magnet supplier. About 3.00 each and they are already drilled. Have a good grip when closing it.
