It is actually been done by many people including myself...theres nothing new about this....many owner operators look for smaller companies and better experienced dispatchers and perhaps even lower dispatching %....when i was workin for bigger trucking company there was 50 owner operators...4 of them were my uncles....i was dispatching and loading at least 15 trucks every week....been doing it for years...the boss at the old company charged my uncles 10% for dispatching fees...paperwork and all that good stuff....when i decided to go on my own i was just tired of dispatching so many trucks and getting paid less than 1% of gross income from each owner...because thats what my boss would pay me.....since i started to my own i load 7 owner operators that leased onto my company including my uncles and i charge them only 5% for dispatching and i make twice as much as i was making loading 15 trucks....but its not that my uncles and owner operators are much happier paying less in dispatch and also get better loads....hopefully this was helpful
