is caribou's meat tasty ?
-
Yes, very much so! Better than moose in my opinion, it was my favorite game as a kid growing up in Alaska.
-
Suicidal? Look maybe the the poor thing just had a bad break up, and just needed a shoulder to lean on to get it through this tough time. It probably had hopes and dreams with thoughts of retiring to someplace near Santa’s work shop. Instead of a shoulder you leaned on it with a fender and a steer tire I’d guess. You’re a savage.
I bet they're tasty.
stuckinthemud, striker, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well now I am chapped.
I thought I lucked out with no damage, I barely clipped it and the bumper is still straight.
Just finished washing the truck and with the sun shining on my brand new 1 month old bumper, it put a small ding around one of the bolts and cracked it. -
For whatever reason, male caribou will charge at the sound of the jake break. It pisses them off and they will instinctively ram a truck.
-
Sure. The problem is if that is all you got all winter you will be sick of it.
Im just a generic beef man, Ive enjoy deer meat in my time properly fried well done. That's like pouring av gas on the body to go do work.mhyn Thanks this. -
I prefer deer, elk, buffalo, even a good bear over beef, though nothing at all wrong with a good steak.
I like moose just as well as beef, caribou and antelope too, not better , but just as well.
Now all this depends heavily on how it was handled after it was killed, and sometimes what it has been feeding on too.. -
I am a meat lover. American beef is the best beef in the world. However pork and lamb is not tasty here in USA. I have tried deer meat and it's ok. Never tried caribou. Alaskan salmon is good one. Love it and ready to eat every day
