All of you can make the news story happen, all it takes is telephone calls to your local news people, then contact the big guys. This would make great news in these troubled times. But make sure the employees are the true "heros".

Its funny how everyone just assume they know everything. Just for the record I am not Chris Johnson nor am I one of the Hartmann's. I am sure they have better things to do besides they have others things to worry about besides this thread.

Its Easter for Pete sake ....

I am sure they are enjoying their time with their families with no worries. Besides they had job waiting for them once they closed up MSXN.... YES believe this when I say they have jobs.

I wanted to believe that the Hatmann's wanted to do good by their employee group but I am learning this is not the case. I have learned as of yesterday that Brad Hartmann is now gainfully employed. Once he has everything set within the courts he has a job awaiting him ... how nice is that.

I wonder is there Truth behind the power of the media ... I have search the web to see if anyone has gone to the media and I found one for SouthBend and one for Columbus. Here is the one for

    SouthBend

I wonder if more people did the same if the outcome would be better. I wonder if this should get out nation wide or how could we make it go out nationwide.

Does anyone out there have a clue as to how to get a nationwide story out there ?

You can start with your local stations, call all of them. You could try some of the big guys too, they are only a phone call away and the worst thing they can say is no. That's nothing compared to what's been done to all of you. Call your congressman, call the President's office, who knows what you can get done. All it takes is one lucky call to the right person... Good luck!

http://www.fdlreporter.com/ This link is for the Fon Du Lac, Wi. news paper. Start here and work your way south. I believe Fon Du Lac is the home town of some of the owners?
Write them, call them. Go to the Drudge Report and in the lower right hand corner he asks for news tips..write a brief to the point message. The more he gets the better...if he reports it, it will be world wide. No.1 news site on the web.

Is anybody, (Mid-States employees still there on March 26, 2009), doing anything about getting the pay owed to us? I talked to the repo company tow driver that took the trucks from my terminal and he says all trucks are being held in storage, NOT up for auction, he thought there maybe a possibility of company reopening. I would guess under a new name since Mid-States name is junk in the trucking industry and with creditors and customers.

There was some rumors that the Hartmann were goin to reopen under a different name but I think it is just rumors.

They have filed chapter 11 in the courts

    Chapter 11
    Reorganization Under the Bankruptcy Code
The chapter of the Bankruptcy Code providing (generally) for reorganization, usually involving a corporation or partnership. (A chapter 11 debtor usually proposes a plan of reorganization to keep its business alive and pay creditors over time. People in business or individuals can also seek relief in chapter 11.)

Rumors might be true .... I am sure it will be the best kept serect

But there is nothing we can do about our paychecks once again we find ourselves at the mercy of the Hartmanns

Unless we can finds enough employees that will go to the media to tell their story. Then again what good is that going to do if they have filed Chapter 11 they are protected by the courts.

That's why all the equipment is just sitting because once again not even the creditor's can touch them right now.

All of the employees need to contact the elected officials of the states that they live in. Someone needs to start listening and acting on your behalf...

Once the Bankruptcy is over we are the first ones to get the money that is owed to us but we just have to be patient, if we don't get our money then contact the Department of Labor for your wages. You will need to fill out a form to tell them how much money is owed to you. I have a class action lawsuit underway right now for not giving us 60 day notice called the Warn Act. Also the Wall Street Journal contacted me yesterday, they are doing a report on Mid-States because they seen my Class Action lawsuit against Mid-states and they wanted to know the whole story. So there is steps being taken but everyone has do their own part if you want to take this company or the Hartmanns downs. 5-10 doing something about this will not do get the word out.
