WTB Looking for an early to mid 80’s Pete or KW

Well, I had a good deal on an 85 KW 900L lined up. I have a friend that is a killer body man and he offered to spray custom paint for free. But, the truck fell through so now I am looking for another cheap truck to go through with his deal. The price will be situationaly dictated and I prefer that it be some what close to Columbus GA. A sleeper is a must and size is not really relevant. I can care less of the condition of the paint, but I would prefer that all the body panels be in place and require little to no body work. The truck has to run, but not perfectly. I have to at least be able to get it home under its own power. Overdrive would be a huge plus and if the truck does have mechanical issues, I would prefer they be simple ones that does not require a new engine or other drive train components. Anyhoo, I am not sure how much more specific I can be. Just let me know what you have and we can go from there.

 

I should have added that I want a convention truck. I will try and pick up a cab over later on.

That is a nice truck. I love the older body styles. The problem is it looks too nice. I think it may be out of my price range. I am looking for a project truck. Shoot me what you want for it in a PM and we can go from there.

 

That is a good price. But considering what I have planned it will put me out of budget.
