When I first got into trucking my first company was schneider. They offered me .32 for new England regional. I thought it was too low, so I asked for .38, we settled on .36
Every job out there you can haggle for your pay. Trucking for some reason, people just don't and accept the cheapest rate per mile the company offers.
Especially nowa days where us drivers are supposedly a limited resources and in demand.
