Millis OTR journal

Reid dangled that carrot in front of me when I left. Told me they were going to open O/O back up, told me to keep in touch. Called twice, no dice. Just as well. Only way I'd do it is if they put me on the triangle and left me there.

 

I'd need the Rochester portion, because it gets me close to home mid-route. I could easily run the triangle three times in a two week period and get home every other week and do well on however it is that they still pay the one remaining O/O they have. It would suck, but it's doable. Most of the triangle runs aren't full circle but those routes would do me fine. Not being governed helps. I'm assuming that guy is still there, drove past his house a few months back on my way to a drop and saw his truck parked with a Millis trailer attached. Great guy, always liked him.

 

That's shocking. Never saw him at a terminal. And I know for sure he isn't fueling on some planned stop. Good for him. My ####, my way. Both middle fingers primed and loaded. Love that dude. Pretty sure his name is Carl.
