Stuff like that interest me too, I love history, especially local history.

 

There was a bridge upriver at the time that was the same design that they closed right after that. Basically a suspension bridge made from big chain links. Half the chain link failed and the bridge fell. I read there’s still one standing in Africa somewhere.
