First inspection I ever got he ask for my book I hand it to him. He gets a funny look on his face says son this can't be right. So I says let me see it. Then I says oh well cause it's the wrong one. Then he says well how many you got?

I'd spend too much time looking around and not enough time working out here. However, I'd take one for the team and spend a year out here, you know, just to check things out. (only 1,340 more posts to go).

Oxbow, PoleCrusher, 7-UP and 12 others Thank this.

    Seniority has its perks.

Customer of ours needs some manhole precast pieces first thing in the AM, job site is near my house. I loaded the trailer while the driver pulled another order a customer was coming to pick up. He says to me after "so where am I taking that stuff?"

    I say..

"You're not taking it anywhere. I'm doing it. Taking the truck home tonight, gonna drop the trailer at another customer's yard and bobtail home"

The things I do for some A/C.

(I did order what I needed to fix my pickup's A/C along with almost 800 bucks worth of other things for it, yuk yuk, expensive evening)

The high bridge (535) between Superior,Wi and Duluth,Mn got permanently restricted to 40 ton gross last week.
"After ongoing inspection it has been determined that the bridge is still in sound condition yada yada yada. However we will be permanently restricting overweight loads until the bridge can be replaced."
That sure gives a guy a warm fuzzy feeling going across the ###### thing...
