Gotcha, I had that problem with home depot on a nursery load, actually two home depots, same load. It was enough to get them crossed off my list and to this day do not spend a dime with them. lol

Sounds like your ready for a better company. I can’t imagine dealing with such bs. The other drivers have learned to just roll with the crap wrong and hurry up and pawn it on the next guy. As far as your pay that sounds ridiculous to me.

It’s just big mega company problems where there are tons of rules made up to be followed by high ups who haven’t even looked at a truck in months. Find a smaller company, get another year in, then you can go work for about anyone. The even smaller well run companies generally require two years.

You are doing the right thing though, keeping that record clean.

The three loads that they are holding back, are not the three drops on this load is it?
If so it would be considered one load, with three drops and I guess that is how they justify holding up your pay, sucks either way.

I would tell Stevens Transport that I don't work for the receiver, I work for Stevens Transport. And if they wish me to continue doing so, my check better clear on payday.

$546 for a weeks work??!!!!!! Find a different company! If I ain't netting at least $1k a week my bills don't get paid. I think I'm grossing just about, if not over, $5500 a month so far this year.

Next time, I'd make sure to write RTS in the blank where they "forgot" to sign.

Was this a three-drop load, or three separate loads? Either way, a certified letter from your attorney, return receipt requested, should help get them motivated to pay you. A call to the Texas Workforce Commission might not hurt, either.

If I were you, I'd definitely be looking for a better carrier, especially since your one-year contract is about to become complete.
