What if it Snows?

Either 21 or 55 — just got woke up to one F of a lightning & thunder show — it was probably a coyote — Idaho Coyotes like city cats.

 

South of Sublett,ID. cruising along 84, saw a pretty good sized moose standing up on a slight rise about 200 feet off the road. No rack visible, juvenile maybe. Never seen one that far south.

 

City cats are the primary food source for Idaho coyotes. Just wish they would eat the feral cats on the farm....

You came down 55 from McCall. 21 to Stanley is a mountain road, not the nice, gradual, easy drive that 55 is... .

North South through Idaho has improved a lot since the upgrades at Lawyer's canyon outside of Cottonwood, White Bird grade and the improvements around Horseshoe bend, but it's still easier to go through Montana to go North/South.

 

They're all the way down to the Utah border. I got mine in Swan Valley about 10 years ago, before the wolves shut that hunt down.

 

Seen a dead moose in the center divide of I 80, That steep grade up to Park City...

Had to look it up but the interwebs told me there are some moose in Utah.

 

Well I tried to get some mowing before the rain got here today. Started to mow a lawn and threw the PTO belts when the lower pulley lost its set screw. At least the pulley walked in and saved the key on the shaft. Time to use bolts with a point ground on the tip (digs into the shaft acting as a better set screw). Tho this time I am going to use grade 8. Grade 8 will hold the point better.

Needed to go to town anyways to get a belt for the vacuum blower
