All these people coming into NY and none stop in to say hello lol.
I got my truck back from getting a nice new paint job yesterday, only to be offered a much newer International 9900I.
Down side, the 9900 has a much smaller sleeper.
Upside, it is a really good looking truck, allot of chrome and nice big grill.
Well....they say Chrome does not pay the bills, but darnit I gave up my 72" sleeper for Chrome Stacks lol.

I took the day off tomarrow to clean out my old truck well and wash the new one. I will try and remember to take pics of both to put on here to see if others think I made the proper choice lol.
I figure I am not on the road more than 3 nights a week most of the time, I may as well have a good looking truck. The 9400 does look nice with the new paint. But it is still a white company truck, and looks like a white company truck.

So if any are in the northeast, basicly Chicago to Maine, down as far normally as Southern PA, and you see a green and black 9900I with WH Fitzgerald on the door, yell for me. We only have 3 of these trucks so the chances are good it is me. Truck 150.

I cannot complain about Central. They were what I expected, and every negative or positive I ever had with that company has been documented in these forums. They are not a bad company, and can be a pretty good company, once you learn how to work there system and get a good dispatcher.
Granted, a good dispatcher will have you set for the weekend before they go home Friday, so you will not have to deal with night dispatch.
I actually saw a night dispatcher contact a driver and convinced the driver that they had to allow there load to be repowered. They of course did not tell the driver the repowering of there load was not really a needed thing, it was just to do a favor for the dispatchers buddy that was stuck for the weekend while they were trying to dig up a load for him.
So now this poor company driver is sitting for the weekend due to giving there load up.

    Its sucks right now!! :biggrin_2552:

Some weeks are good other weeks miles are low and far to much time on loads, then you get a load that is a hurry up and wait.

Oh well. Love this wonderful life of being a trucker. (only a little sarcasm there cause this beats my last job all to heck)

It sure is great to put faces with the names.

You can imagine my wife's reaction the first time I told her, "Honey, I'm going to meet a trucker I met on the internet" She's still not sure that maybe 6pak4two might be a serial killer. :biggrin_25525:

But by the time we met up with 1badz28, she came along, and we even brought the 17 year old kid!

After we found out what a nice guy 1bad is, she even got mad at me for allowing him to do his restart at the truckstop.

"Next time that happens, you make sure and bring him to the house!!" is what she said.

Lots of good folks on here, that's for sure.
