Well, as if on cue, the greatest trucking company on earth (ok, I'll admit that might be pushing it a little. But I am entitled to my opinion, right?) is swapping me out in Oklahoma City to turn me towards home. Delivering a load in the morning in Pauls Valley, OK then picking up at our yard near Tulsa headed home. How is that for an answer about hometime? And yes, I'm rapidly becoming VERY company proud. If they continue this way, I'm going to wind up sounding more like a recruiter than a driver. (I really am treated THAT well!!!!!)

On a brand new cascadia approximately high 700s the first year with apu.
without apu ur looking at 600s or low 700s. If your just first gonna sign on to JCT there's a high chance they won't give you a brand new truck.

Lol who sent you thos horrible numbers lol. Probably one of our drives that run wide open. I run 62-65 and avg 6.8 mpg in my T600 and here are some more encouraging nimbers

Week of 4/15 brought home $1200.41 with 2705 miles

Week of 4/8 brought home $1460.36 with 3891 miles. Was less this week cuz of fuel was expensive lol

As long as you keep ur foot out of it you'll do great with this company. They've got the miles and freight to keep you running

Alan, thank you so VERY much for restating what I've stated in several posts in an attempt to try to make me look like an idiot. Congratulations on your attempt. Now, since you're going to try to throw out numbers with no weight, perhaps you can step up and try to be constructive here. How much is your truck payment? Do you have a side note? And how long have you been with JCT? I'd also be interested in how you do on fuel running back and forth across Wyoming and between Washington and Cali (as I do regulalrly) Spend enough time in Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, and Utah, and your fuel economy CAN'T stay that high. (and if you read through my previous posts, you can see that's EXACTLY where I was when I made those numbers) And I get that because I live in Washington. Mountains all around. Or, you can choose to continue calling me an idiot. Your choice.

Steady guys. I am looking at JCT for their L/O program. Maybe this summer some time, but anyway. Both of your numbers benefit those of us looking for info. I don't honestly think anyone is trying to paint, nor be painted as an idiot. Having real life running numbers are the bottom line and the more info you can provide is 1) fantastic info for us on the outside as to the actual workings of the program 2) A true testament to your professionalism as a driver to help better you fellow driver.

Keep those numbers coming, Stay safe, and thanks for the info.

Grizzlyman sorry wasn't trying to offend you. Wasn't trying to call you an idiot either. I was just giving out some of my numbers so other drivers don't get discouraged with JCT.
To answer ur question I've been with John for 4 years now working on my 5th. Once again sorry if I offended you wasn't trying to.
N e ways I see that you've signed on in August. Are you keeping that 'F' trk or you gonna get a new one? I seriously think its wrong if they are making you pay side note onb an 'F' trk.
N E ways drive safe and holler at u later. I wonder y they don't get u a tuesday morning load to get u home. I know they got those. O well idk

I've tried to say over and over that my numbers are what I get without trying. I'm driving a truck that I know is not great on fuel economy, and doing what I love. If you read back through my posts, I say it over and over again that I don't need to make a lot of money. I'm not interested in going slow driving an aerodynamic truck. If I were, I'd go to Schneider. When I read through your posts (especially where you posted good numbers over in the favorite company category), I can see exactly how you're making the money you are. The big thing I think we need to show people that are looking at JCT is EXACTLY how we make the money we do. That's why I've posted my pay statements.

As for upgrading, I don't like the new trucks. I like my hood. The new Prostars are nice to look at, and they look like they're nice to drive, but you don't get as much storage space in the bunk as I do. That and from what I'm hearing here at the yard, the payments are in the 8's and 9's. I could probably make up for that payment in fuel economy, but I can't imagine signing that much longer of a lease at those payments. I like the idea that my truck will be paid off in about 3 1/2 years. I'm probably going to take my truck and go local at that point. I dunno. We'll have to see.

Oh yeah, I'm at the yard right now. I gave in and am getting steer tires here. (I was going to get them on the road in a couple of weeks. I wanted Good Years, but I guess Michelin's will do...) They already have me a load sitting here, and I will deliver in Portland, Oregon on Wednesday morning. (90 miles from where I park the truck)

I have oe of the biggest wind breakers on the road(Freightliner Classic) With the modifications I made to the truck, I am getting 6.5mpg at 62 to 65 mph. When I frst started I was getting 5.75 mpg. I am keeping this truck. It will be out of warranty in 30,000 miles. I did a recovery on the way back from home time, and had to drive a IH 9900. What a POS. Soooo glad to get back in to my truck. If you see me on the road, mine has the paint peeling off the visor
