Always good to see a new driver offer his perspective. Would you care to give the rest of us a breakdown of your expenses? How about an average weeks mileage?

    Truck payment
    Avg fuel cost
    Maintenance fund
    escrow
    Medical insurance
    Bobtail/collision/comprehensive
    workers comp/occupational insurance

    Any other charges?

Gee, I wondered if that was you. We were going opposing directions in western Oklahoma. I had snow near Aulbuque and Flagstaff yesterday. But I waved my wand to make it go away for you. You should have plenty of sunshine.

    I would say about 40 to 50 %.
    Tyson - 30%
    Tuesday Morning - 100%
    Produce - 0%
    Bottle loads - 80%

Really depends on what they got u load.

I'm in a dark greenish, greyish International 9900. And yeah, enough of the snow. I hate my chains, and I can't afford to break more chains. LOL

It also depends on how often you're swapping with other drivers. I had a period of two weeks where I was swapping loads back and forth with other drivers. I didn't pick up or deliver a load for more than two weeks. Good miles, and easy work. I did have a drop and hook on a load of apples a couple of months ago. (I was shocked!!!) The only Tyson load I've ever sat waiting for were at Center, Texas. Every other one has been ready when I got there. I would say that 90% of my pick ups have been drop and hook. However, I've only had about 2% of my deliveries drop and hook. But it really depends on your luck.
