I have a 2001 6nz cat with 670,000 miles on it, and for about 6 months I've had a vibration that I feel in the floor and "gas pedal". It's only under full torque. Replaced the clutch in Dec checked all the u-joints, yokes and all felt tight. But it is getting worse.

    Any ideas?

I would say maybe have your fuel injectors tested?? Does it feel underpowered or anything?

Replaced the cam and injectors at the beginning of 2008, doesn't seem underpowered.

Hmmm, injectors can be tricky. I put some in my c-15 when I had one and a few months later had to have 2 replaced. Could be something in the transmission...? Or Fuel filters? That would be an easy and cheap fix to try. That's why I no longer own trucks. Too much guessing. LOL

Yeah I hear you. My feeling is it's in the motor, just doesn't feel like it's in the tranny. Thanks for the reply.

Have you had your ride height checked or drive line angles?

I just pulled an overheight load this week, and the trailer deck height was what it has been. I would think the drive line angle would be the same, if the height hasnt changed, right?

Don't know if this helps diagnose it, but it has been smoking alot more at start-up, whether it be a cold start, or a warm one. The smoke is white to grey colored.

Do you know what your fuel pressure is? Does the engine idle rough at all? What about wide open under no load at operating temp? Was the stock cam put in?

Have you checked the magnets in the diffs? I have had two trucks this month that had the same type of vibration and it was a failed bearing in a diff.
