We were talking about miles last week and I posted that I had transfloed in 2,800 and some change. I just looked, it was 2,815.
This week I’m transfloeing in 3,425. That consists of: Clovis to Lamar, Co. (live loaded) Lamar to Santa Fe Springs, CA. (live unloaded) Dead headed from there to Sunnyside, WA tank wash (dropped/hooked) Then to Prosser, WA. (live loaded) Then Prosser to Henderson, Nevada.
3,425 + 2,815 = 6,240 miles.
6,240 divided by 2 weeks = 3,120.
Just an example of how I come to my numbers when I say I “average” 3K miles per week. It’s pretty much this way every month other than when I take home time.

It's an animal not a human

this isn't 1984. I don't know of anybody that gets paid 30 something cents a mile.I started out at $0.48 a mile fresh out of school last December
-
Give it another 9 years. You’ll meet drivers of other companies at tank washes and customers that brag about getting $10 an hour detention time but in the same sentence mention they get paid .38 cents a mile.
-
That's pretty sad
-
I’ve heard lower than .38. before too. Lol
-
I've heard pretty bad money is for people that work for Western Express. Western Express in Carolina take full advantage of drivers that have bad records
