Using Car Load Boards ( New Haulers )

Not difficult and that's why everyone is doing it and not making any money

 

Time consuming . Don't haul cheap !!!!!! Always get a better rate because what is listed is usually a joke .

 

Why stop with only a 5 car behind that dually? Think big.

 

Some brokers/shippers won't give you loads until you are in business for a certain amount of time. Accelerated is at 2 years

Each is a bit different.
The first few loads will be dealers (they give the least ####s) and banged up cars from coparts and iaaas.
Keep hustlng and doing good work and before you know it any load will be opent to ya.
I would suggest you dispatch yourself in the beginning just to learn the process and then you would likely be better off hiring a dispatcher. Good luck

 

Some start at 19 cents - some go for $1.00 per mile. Most on Central Dispatch are listed at 40 - 50 cents per mile which I don't even call on . Always negotiate higher . You will be surprised sometimes .
