I generally hate to drive late at night. I usually only do it to get home and then only if I can adjust my sleep pattern to accomidate it.

I love night driving. Less people and I know I will have parking in the morning. I ran groceries for a year and a half, so I am used to the nights. After this run, I'll run back to the same place to pick up a load going up to Milwaukee.

Albuquerque, parked outside of Shamrock. 0600 delivery. Will have a fresh clock when they finish. Love when you can park at shipper/receiver.

    Alma tx at the loves.
After delivering that load to Houston, picked this load up in Baytown tx and going to Plainview tx.
A stormy day today. Last 4 Miles to here was knarly. Very high winds and a downpour like I never seen
    Wipers barely could keep up.
    Hopefully tomorrow is better

    Don't say I didn't warn you.

    I know, I didn't. But don't say it.

I was listening to NOAA radio as I was coming through Indy today.
They had a rainfall record of over 3.5 inches set yesterday. The previous was in the late 1800's at a bit less than 2 inches.
Glad I came through today, as it would have been knarly yesterday.
Or maybe gnarly. I get the k's and g's mixed up when they are not actually pronounced. My spell checker gave the g word, so I thought I would mention it for future reference.

I was listening to the wx channel on the radio and they were reporting this storm. To.last till 5pm.
I was going to stop here in alma anyways for my ten. But felt like I hit a wall about 4 miles out. Calmed down now but out of hours.

The weather is getting stranger every year it seems.

I don't know how much is 'man made', or how much is a natural cycle. Probably a combination of both.
I think at this point it is just something we have to deal with.
