Don't try to compare Cobra radio quality with Connex.

You sound like a friend of mine that all he does is go cheap on himself all the time and buys crap cobra radios , and tries to insist he sounds great.
Cobras are of the same quality as Radio Shack .
They have no audio quality, they sound muffled and they sound like you're talking into a tin can , why do you think there are so many mods for them , that's right , you need them .
This radio needs nothing right out of the box , So it's an illegal radio .
Who cares . . . . if they're commin , let em come .

I'm getting sick of people claiming that a Cobra 29 is a great radio.
Yea it's a great radio if you want to do all your audio mods to it and then back it up with 500 watts , The guys asked for an Honest answer.
If the radio was so illegal, they would have never made it.
Next week I'll be bringing home my grandfathers Icom 7800, his teloscopic mast and his Mosley beam . . .
