Shut down in Dodge City once again. Hope this load is ready early. Getting nose blind to the smell of these slaughterhouses.

 

I got a warning light this morning, a yellow fuel pump. That's something I've never seen before.
I pulled in to the TA in Foristell, MO and called on-road. They showed a fuel filter warning, so in the TA shop I went to replace them.
Total time from pulling in to pulling out and back on the road was just under 1.5 hours. Not bad at all.

 

Amarillo tx at the Petro.
Delivered that load to plainview then drove over to shipper down the street.
Heavy load. Went to the t/a to scale before fueling. Could only put 60 gallons in. Did.t like the food choices there so came here.
Delivering to el paso tx tomorrow

 

Sounds like you picked up flour. Plenty of heavy loads in West Texas. Copper, Dog food, and flour.

6 spools of copper wire. Just under 45000 lbs.

Pick up a load around the corner from here in the morning, headed to IL. That sets me up nicely for my home time load to MN.

 

Picked up load here in el Paso . Was an hour late due to last receiver taking forever to unload 6 rolls.
Deliver in Lebanon or anytime on the 22.
Not sure I have hours to get there but dl says I can make it.
I should bet him lol.
Have 4.5 hrs tomorrow. 8.50 , 4.30, and 10.50. Load is 1616 miles . I told hi. A few times that I am sure it's as He delivery. So will do a Mac 22 when I know for sure.
Took me lo get to get to shipper th I thought. Slow towns and a few construction sites. Oh well.

It looks barely doable if you are not slowed down in any way, and keep all other on-duty time to a bare minimum.

Gotta love those DM's that say 'you can do it' because of what that stupid computer program tells them.

 

I always try to save hours and minutes when I can.
