Case for Discrimination

Why do you think you have a “right” to another trainer? Not saying it wasn’t a raw deal. But employment is not a right.

 

Is it legal to put a driver out of the truck onto the street or beside the road..i would have refused to get out at least till we were at a truck stop..

You have a cdl, so there's companies that will hire you. Let us know where you are.
Many of us choose trucking because we don't like much personal interaction with others. That's not abnormal or a disorder.
I think you'll do just fine as a solo driver.

 

You may be a good fit for dry van. Not as much interaction with people that can get on your nerves like us old reefer drivers have to deal with.

Bingo! I learned a long time ago, in those situations, speak when spoken to,,,

 

Says 18 minutes from bus station, not side of the road.

Can kick a trainee out any safe place. gas station, rest area, hotel, whatever. You don't want to get out, the police will take you out.

I would have dropped her at bus station if that's where she wanted out, no skin off mine. But I wasn't involved in the screaming match. She did something to set trainer off.

 

Sounds like a bad deal on Swifts part, but then again Swift is know as SWIFT (Serious Wipeout In Freightliner Trucks) I reccomend going somewhere else.

Would you mind posting up that video footage you say you have? It might actually give a better idea to just exactly what's going on.

In my opinion, you're committing career suicide if you choose to follow through with Swift and stat with them just to have a job. The place has a company hearse for christ sakes. Get away from that place!
