Forgotten values ,responsibilitys

The last statement answers the question asked in the first statement . The trucking industry has become a dumping ground for desperate people who lack the skill and intelligence to pursue other careers . The trucking schools exploit them , then many find out from trainers and safety managers they lack the skills and intelligence to be truck drivers .
As for more dangerous jobs with better safety records , please produce statistics to back that up .

 

Some decent answers in this thread,but put the blame where the blame belongs.

Some say its the industries fault,when in fact its the Nation of diluted values thats really the blame.

In a Nation where Abortion,Homosexual marriage and "Sex Sells" govern the populous mindset,how naive can one be to think a free rolling trucking industry can be any different then the country that supports/controls it ?

 

I was lucky to have family in the business so when I decided to finally live my life long dream I was and still am being taught OLD SCHOOL. And the entire lesson is RESPECT !!!!!!!!!!! For other truckers,the truck,other drivers,road conditions,the job itself,and respect yourself and what you do. Anybody can teach you how to scratch some gears and keep it between the lines but pay attention young guns cause only the old timers and time can teach you how to be A TRUE TRUCKER

 

I was just talking about this problem with a trucker friend.We've noticed that turn signals aren't being used anymore.I guess the offender thinks that we can read their mind?I'm also sick of hearing all the fighting and the 14 morons that aren't wearing any panties.I love the new equipment but miss the old days
