    On a 48 yes, with 53’s or lots of rear overhang it’s not hard to get heavy on rear axle. Rear axle is only one I ever worried about.

    Nope. If your leveling valve is working right, and you do not have another mechanical malfunction, them axles will be within a few hundred pounds of each other all of the time. I pull 53 footers. And I have pulled 42's, 45's and 48's. We even have 2 steps that are 51. That is what leveling valves are for. If your axles are not pretty close to the same weight you either have a dump valve dumped at the time you weighed, and broken leveling valve or some other mechanical issue. Trailers are engineered to carry the weight fairly equally between the axles in an axle set, regardless of how or where the load is placed.
