Well if thats the case...
Last month I got 13,696 miles by the odometer. Which is what my milage bonus is calculated from.tramm01, Dave_in_AZ and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
I picked up my second load of the day near Victorville at the prison. Two renovated Humvees. Just beat the worst of the rush hour traffic and made it to Port Hueneme. Shut down in a wide open parking lot on the base. Had salmon and chef salad for dinner. Nice cool breeze coming off the ocean. Should sleep like a baby.
I'm liking this new gig. I get to pull a variety of trailers. This morning I pulled a conestoga to deliver plastic resin to an outfit that paints lines on the highway, just west of Pasadena. Then it was back to the yard in Fontana to switch to a lowboy.dwells40, otterinthewater, InTooDeep and 4 others Thank this. -

Well a friend of mine stopped by today and had a supply of polyethelene plastic patch kits. We applied it and it has a 3 hour cure time. I will find out tomorrow if it leaks or not. Yet it may allow me to get my lawns done and get the truck to what ever service with out a towing fee. Not going to put all 29 gallons of fuel that are in buckets back in the tank.
I contacted a more popular junkyard whom will get back to me of if there are any tanks available to replace mine. Otherwise a local shop said for about $250 he could replace mine with a new tank (cost of tank + labor). What I dont know is if it is a metal tank or a plastic one. Plastic ones will last forever presuming the owner doesnt drag it on the ground.25(2)+2 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
