And even worse... That guys face oddly resembles my father-in-law... I'll never be able to look at him the same again.
On a better note...
My plan for the day has gone off without a hitch so far. I began the day after overnighting at a receiver while I waited for an empty trailer. Guess that is to be expect onve in awhile when you show up 12 hours ahead of schedule. Anyway I was 5.5 hours from my shipper, appointment at said shipper was an additional 5 hours On top of that.
My plan...
1. Washout and fuel
2. Get moving to shipper pronto
3. Park out of the way at shipper 5 hours early
4. Check in at shipper 5 hours early
5. Nap for 3 to 4 hours
6. Eat
7. Be on dock .25 hour early
8. Nap/wait 2 to 3 hours while being loaded (about the worst place we load at)
9. Sign paper work and get back on the road having completed the 8 hour portion of a split reset at shipper.
10. Drive through the night with 2 hour break somewhere allong the way.
Thus far it has gone flawless... Will be on the road in 30 mins!lovesthedrive, dwells40, tramm01 and 5 others Thank this. -
You have to understand.
That guy was one of the pollsters Trump just fired.

Duluth has some good products. Get a number of things from them. One is work boots and shoes.

You my friend are living the dream. I delivered in Oxnard last week before I went home to Carpinteria. We’re about a block from the ocean and I also sleep like a baby there....Lepton1, lovesthedrive and tramm01 Thank this.

yep they got a sign up on one of the last 2 exits before WA.
Got a jacket from the mail order side that is a good protection jacket. No lining or insulation just the fire hose canvas shell so the wind blows through but protects you from cuts and abrasion.
Stepson really liked some pants we got for him from there, he wants more. I told him to get his life in order so he can afford to buy his own pants.Lepton1, lovesthedrive, tramm01 and 2 others Thank this. -

Lepton1, tramm01 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
