They make more than our salary program and it’s arguably easier work as far as open deck goes...

I'm gonna start topdressing corn tomorrow. So it ain't gonna rain for at least a week round these parts.

Busy day today. Went to preload my trailer for this morning last night. First truck had transmission problems, then I was given an anionic trailer instead of cationic, so three trucks and two trailers later, I was loaded.

Got to the yard at about 6pm, looking to be loaded and home by 9-9:30 at the latest. Rolled into the yard at 11:30, lol.

Either way, first load got to the customer mostly on time, and they didn't care much (they weren't out of product).


Then once I got my first solo pump off done, it was back for load #2. Loaded and back to the customer ahead of schedule, which meant they were still around and let me offload tonight rather than tomorrow morning. Putting me ahead of the game.


Now I'm about to get horizontal to be up and rolling back for load #3. Delivering that, then reload #4 and give it to another driver so I can go home and the truck can get a pump flush. Cheers everyone.

 

Guess I gotta take my daughter shopping or something now that she saved my Bacon!! Lol! I almost forgot today is my 22nd wedding anniversary! She ordered flowers for my wife from me!! What a great kid! That's my 6'1" Munchkin! Always looking out for her ol' Dad!
